Neil Bunn

Neil Bunn is a Technology Architect for IBM specializing in Supercomputing and Complex Computing Solutions. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Queen's University, is a certified Professional Engineer and is a Senior Member of IEEE. He holds certification as a Master Certified Architect from the Open Group, and is a patented inventor for IBM. He has worked for IBM since 2001 and in that time has been part of the design and deployment of four of the fastest supercomputers in the world, including the current sixteenth and eightyth most powerful systems in the world built for the University of Toronto and comprising more than 5,000 interconnected devices, and a total computing capacity of over 380 trillion calculations per second. Neil specializes in advanced technology and the integration of future devices for research and academic purposes. In his spare time Neil is also a member of the Ontario Trillium Foundation. His first computer was a Timex Sinclair he got when he was six.
